NEWS  Port of Balboa, Phase IV Expansion, Marine Works 2/3

The Consortium IMI – CIMS (Intercoastal Marine, Inc. and Boskalis Dredging) has been awarded a $123 million contract by Panama Ports Company for the Port of Balboa, Phase IV Development, Marine Works 2/3, a Hutchinson Port Holdings development. The Works include the construction of Berth 18 piled quay deck structure, rock dyke and road platform, the navigation and berth box dredging for Berth 18, dredging for the rock dyke, and the reclamation area behind Berth 18. Project completion is scheduled for August, 2010.
